On September 11, 2023, LEARN wrote a letter to the Chairs and Ranking Members of the U.S. House and Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (LHHS) Appropriations Subcommittees overseeing funding for education research. This letter expresses LEARN’s concern with the 302(b) funding level of the House Subcommittee approved Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 LHHS appropriations bill and cuts proposed by this bill to the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) and other critical education programs.
