On November 14, 2023, LEARN wrote a letter to the members of the U.S. House and Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (LHHS) Appropriations Subcommittees overseeing funding for education research. This letter expresses LEARN’s concern with the amendment that Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) offered to eliminate funding for the Institution of Education Sciences for the fiscal year (FY) 2024.
