LEARN submitted 14 member recommendations from esteemed Institutes of Higher Education nationwide for appointment to the National Board for Education Services (NBES). Given the importance of IES and the current absence of any NBES members, LEARN emphasized that the Biden Administration should move quickly to populate the Board at its full level of 15 members so that it can fulfill its important guidance and oversight responsibilities.
