LEARN Submitted comments to IES leadership in response to the recently released National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) report titled “The Future of Education Research at IES.” In the letter, LEARN discussed the critical need for more IES funding, advocated for the creation of two grant cycles, commended efforts to promote diversity in education research and responded to the report’s proposal to update the types and topics of research IES.
