LEARN Submits LHHS Testimony to Senate LHHS Subcommittee for FY 26
On Friday, June 13, the LEARN Coalition submitted written testimony to the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. It also outlines the serious challenges these agencies are facing due to recent administrative actions—including the cancellation of grant competitions at NCER and NCSER, reductions in force (RIFs), and a proposed 15% cap on indirect costs at NIH—that threaten to undermine critical research and innovation.
